Former Nevada Basketball Star Ramon Sessions Has Become An Agent

Ramon Sessions, one of the best players in Nevada basketball history, has found a new profession. The former Wolf Pack point guard is now a certified agent, he told The Athletic's Shams Charania and The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears.

Sessions starred at Nevada from 2004-07 before turning pro after his junior season. A second-round draft pick, Sessions played 11 seasons in the NBA from 2007-18, averaging 10.3 points, 4.1 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game for eight teams, including two stints in Charlotte.

Sessions has started an independently owned firm, On Time Agency (OTA), and is advising five-star McDonald's All-American Jordan Walsh, who is committed to Arkansas, which is coached by former Nevada head coach Eric Musselman (Sessions and Musselman developed a relationship as a result of their Wolf Pack ties).

In 2019, Sessions was hired as the New Orleans Pelicans Director of Team Development, although he is no longer listed on the franchise's staff directory and cannot work for an NBA team if he is a player agent.

Sessions, a native of Myrtle Beach, S.C., joined Nevada in 2004 and led the Wolf Pack to four WAC titles and three NCAA Tournament berths in three seasons. he averaged 8.8 points, 4.9 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 97 games. In 2017, Sessions donated $1 million to help create the Ramon Sessions Performance Center, a practice facility for the Nevada men's and women's basketball team. He was inducted into the Wolf Pack Hall of Fame in 2018.
