Jordan Walsh enters the NBA with an agent who played in the league for over a decade in his corner.

The Boston Celtics selected Jordan Walsh from the University of Arkansas with the No. 38 pick in the 2023 NBA draft on Thursday night. This came after Boston made several moves to trade back in the draft and pick up draft capital along the way.

Walsh, the No. 39 prospect in ESPN's draft projections, improved his standing with teams at the draft combine by posting 15 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in 40 minutes of action while demonstrating impressive defensive versatility with his 7-foot-2 wingspan.

Walsh’s performance earned a lot of praise from scouts and reporters in attendance, including the NBA’s official website. Over the weekend, NBA.com writer Luke Akinsola named Walsh as one of seven standout prospects from last week’s combine.
