On Time Agency Signs Toronto Raptors Assistant Coach Mery Andrade to its Next Chapter Division

Atlanta, GA – October 20, 2025 — On Time Agency is ecstatic to announce the official signing of Toronto Raptors Assistant Coach and former WNBA player, Mery Andrade, as a client of its Next Chapter Division. Mery had an illustrious 16-year pro career before transitioning to coaching. Mery joins the expanding Next Chapter Division as its first NBA coach.
Mery began her professional career with five seasons in the WNBA — with the Cleveland Rockers and Charlotte Sting — earning consecutive runner-up finishes for Defensive Player of the Year. She went on to continue her dominance overseas in Italy, becoming a three-time Italian League All-Star, an Italian League Champion, and a FIBA Cup Champion. Later in her career, she returned home to Portugal, capturing both the League championshiop and Cup championship. These acheivements capped off 19 years of representing the Portuguese national team, solidifying her status as one of the most accomplished players in Portugal’s basketball history.
Following her playing career, Mery transitioned to coaching, where she first got her start as an assistant at the University of San Diego in 2015. She then joined the New Orleans Pelicans G-League affilliate, the Erie BayHawks turned Birmingham Squadron, from 2019-2022. Today, Mery begins her third season as an assistant coach of the Toronto Raptors—the first NBA coach to join On Time Agency’s Next Chapter Division.
